Our story began at Timber Creek High School, where I first laid eyes on Sebastian.

On a typical school day, while I was enjoying lunch with my friends and chatting about our weekend, the bell rang to return to class.

Walking with my friend, out of nowhere I saw a guy with his cap on backwards and KD sneakers walking up the stairs. Intrigued, I stopped in my tracks and asked my friend who the new guy at our school was. My friend let me know that he wasn’t new, as he was a senior and had been attending Timber Creek for the past four years. My friend started laughing, and I was intrigued that I hadn’t seen him before. Determined to get to know him and learn more about him, I asked one of my friends, who happened to be Sebastian’s friend, to tell him to text me. Waiting impatiently for the next two days, I decided to take the initiative and texted him, which he eventually responded to, letting me know that he had been in the hospital due to illness and had been unable to contact me because of that.

A little calmer and somewhat embarrassed, I apologized for my impatience. Sebastian laughed and invited me to have ice cream at Dairy Queen, knowing that I love ice cream. That day he picked me up in his Astro van, which I found unexpectedly charming. At Dairy Queen, we talked for almost six hours, sharing our lives and our future goals. Sebas was always a gentleman with me; he opened the car door for me, paid for my ice cream, and always made sure I got home on time.

That day marked the beginning of our life together forever. Our journey has been filled with laughter, support, and unwavering love. And now, we can't wait to begin the next chapter in our story together, joined by our family and friends who have been with us every step of the way.
